The roster is up to 22 with Mature and Elizabeth being announced recently. There's been some rampart rumors that there will be 26 characters in all on the console version. 6 console exclusive characters. I also hear the rest will be announced during E3. That's just what I hear in through the fighting game grapevine though.
Never got into KOF at the arcades thanks to Tekken and SF2 and SF3. I did play some SNK vs Capcom games though. I went back and played some KoF '97 and I love it. I'm thoroughly looking forward to KoF12. Every time I see that and BlazBlue I think of what SF4 could have been.

I still despise people on SF4 who picks Ken and spams jumping hardkick to crouching punch canceled into hard punch Shoryuken. You'd think they'd learn after the 5th time I slide under their jumping kick as Rose then throw them.
It's a by game case thing. You don't want a game to drag *looks at GTA4's mob missions* but on the same token every game has to end at some point. Also I don't really care about how long it takes for me to complete a game. I buy games for the experience not the time investment. I brought the orange box for Portal only, a 4 hour game. Sure I played HL2 and found out that TF2 is amazing. But I brought it for Portal. TF2 was just a added bonus.
Yes sir. Fighting games is going to have a nice year. I already have SF4 and I'm playing the ish out of it. KoF12 is right around the corner and so is Blazblue. I'm not into Tekken so I won't be getting that and I probably won't get MvC2 (already have it for the DC and Ps2). But KoF12 is looking fantastic and so is Blazblue.
Man I spent countless hours playing the s**t out of Berserker as well. I died so many times trying to complete that game. Going into "berserk mode" and killing everything in sight. The first game I played with "Quick Time Events" and it did them flawlessly. If you f**ked up you'd have to take the LONG way filled with a ton of monsters. It's why I like QTE's when done right.

@Above: I remember when the first Half-Life was going to be on the Dreamcast. I think if the Dreamcast held on for a little longer HL could have changed things a bit.

Really? You still get awarded the Platinum? Because I had about 70 percent of PoP's trophies done with the patch came out for the dlc and the extra trophies and my total completion percentage went do to 60 percent. I figured Since my completion percentage went down due to the new trophies for DLC (which i didn't buy) I couldn't achieve the platinum for PoP. I'll try finish getting the last 10 or so trophies (mostly the run from this place to this place withen 3 minutes and the do every combo ...
The thing that pisses me off about trophies? Requiring you to purchase their stupid f**king DLC to get their Platinum trophy. "You want that platinum in Prince of Persia Dark-General? You gonna have to spend another 10 bucks sucker!". Seriously that's the only thing that's killing me when it comes to trophies.
Other than that Trophies are solid. I like comparing my Level to my friend's level and looking at the amount of gold/silver/bronze they have in comparison to min...
I too loved Black. Too bad the guy never finished the game or he could have found out the awesome ending to it that took me by surprise. Also I see CoD4 as taking nods from Black. Golden weapons and silencers you could place on almost every gun. Black was indeed ahead of it's time.
Now I'm not a fan of JRPG's (or in this case SRPG's) but this is good news since SEGA will probably be more likely to release Yakuza 3 over here now.

I was wrong. I'll admit it, i'm not ashamed to admit it. I was wrong. The multiplayer for Uncharted 2 looks... Good. Ugh I'm making myself sick i still wish it was single player only with offline coop. But the multi does look incredible from the footage. Excuse me while a weep silently.
